Impartiality Policy
NXG Center for food Safety and Hygiene LLP and every member of its management, audit team, employees commit to adhere to the following policies:
- NXG Center for food Safety and Hygiene LLP shall not restrict audit results on the grounds of undue financial or other limiting conditions, such as membership of an association or group.
- NXG Center for food Safety and Hygiene LLP shall be responsible for the impartiality of its audit results and inspection activities and shall not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality.
- NXG Center for Food Safety and Hygiene LLP shall not have any direct relationship with Food service Establishment other than Audit work as a third party conformity assessment.
- NXG Center for Food Safety and Hygiene LLP’s staff shall not suggest or imply that audits would be simpler, easier or less expensive if consultancy or training services were used.
- We do not offer training as part of the certification.
- NXG Center for food Safety and Hygiene LLP . shall base all of its decisions on objective evidence obtained through an effective process based on objective evidence of conformity or nonconformity, and that any decisions made are not influenced by other interests or by other parties. Audit results and inspection decisions are made and approved by a competent person who is free from influence by other interests or parties, including those of its clients.
- Our auditors will not be influenced by financial, commercial, or other pressures when conducting audit and inspection activities, and will take action to address any situation that would affect impartiality. Auditors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest in the Declaration Form.
- NXG Center for Food Safety and Hygiene LLP shall not use personnel with an actual or potential conflict of interest and shall ensure that its personnel are free from commercial, financial or other pressures that might affect their judgement.
- NXG Center for Food Safety and Hygiene LLP shall identify risks to its impartiality on an ongoing basis. This includes risks that arise from its activities, its related bodies, its relationships, or the relationships of its personnel. However such relationship do not necessarily present NXG Center for Food Safety and Hygiene LLP with a risk to impartiality
- NXG Center for Food Safety and Hygiene LLP shall not have a relationship that threatens the impartiality of the agency based on ownership, governance, management personnel, shared resources, finances, contracts, marketing (including branding) , and payment of sales commission or other inducement for the referral of new clients etc.
- NXG Center for Food Safety and Hygiene LLP shall be independent to the extent that is required with regard to the conditions under which it performs its services and shall not restrict audit results on the grounds of undue financial or other limiting conditions, such as membership of an association or group.
- NXG Centre for Food Safety and Hygiene and its personnel shall not engage in any activities that may conflict with their independence of judgment and integrity in relation to their audit activities. In particular, they shall not be engaged in the design and establishment of a FE, manufacture, supply, purchase, installation, ownership , use or maintenance of equipment or services used in a FE and prohibited from any kind of consultation or offering training.
- NXG Center for Food Safety and Hygiene shall not be part of a legal entity that is engaged in the design and establishment of a FE,manufacture, supply, purchase, ownership, installation, use or maintenance of equipment or Services used in an FE including any kind of consultation or training.
- NXG Center for Food Safety and Hygiene for Food shall not be linked to a separate legal entity that is engaged in the design and establishment of a FE, manufacture , supply, purchase, installation,ownership , use or maintenance of equipment or Services used in an FE including any kind of consultation or training.
NXG Center for food Safety and Hygiene LLP . recognizes that threats to impartiality include the following:
- Self-interest threats – threats that arise from a person or body acting in its own interest to benefit itself.
- Self-review threats – threats arising from a person reviewing the work that they have conducted themselves.
- Familiarity threats – threats that arise from a person being familiar with or trusting of another person, e.g., auditor / auditing body personnel developing a relationship with a client that affects the ability to reach an objective judgment.
- Intimidation threats – threats that prevent Certificate/Inspection Body or its personnel from acting objectively due to fear of a client or other interested party.
- Financial threats – the source of revenue for a Certificate/Inspection Body can be a threat to impartiality.
The management team conducts an annual risk assessment on impartiality and conflict of interest and is responsible for ensuring that threats to impartiality and conflict of interest are reviewed regularly.
